Teaching philosophy

Structure Before Technique

Javier's teaching starts from a simple observation: most students accumulate techniques faster than they build understanding. They know a lot of moves and still feel lost in a live round.

The Master Plan is his answer to that. Rather than teaching another technique library, he organized his years of instruction into a system — mindset first, position and biomechanics next, then strategy — so students always know what layer of the puzzle they are working on.

JVOS covers the mental side: staying calm, staying aware, staying clear when the pressure comes. The Central Path covers the strategic side: recognizing the most efficient route through the position in front of you. The book explains how it all fits together; the courses show it in detail.

That combination — read, watch, apply — is what he built JV Jiu Jitsu Online to deliver.
